Prices

The rental starts when you pick up the bike. If you keep the bike overnight, we charge per 24 hours, not by calendar day. If you keep it longer than 24 hours, we won’t charge an additional full day, just a half day more until closing time at 18:00.

For example, a bike rented at 13:00 for 24 hours is due back at the same time the next day.

We manage all payments and administration of the bike rental at the shop. You pay for the bike when you bring it back, so you don’t have to decide beforehand exactly how long you want to rent it. The daily rate goes down if you rent for longer, so you never pay too much. Prices exclude optional theft insurance and the mandatory deposit.

Bike rental deposit

For the deposit we require a copy of a valid identity card (passport, official ID card, driving licence). One ID card is valid for a maximum of two bikes.

Insurance

The insurance only covers theft, not damages to or loss of the bike. The terms of this insurance are at your disposal, please ask our staff to show them to you.

Safety

All bicycles have two solid locks, please use them both at all times. The rentor is responsible for any damage done to the bike. All damages must be paid.

From Central Station go onto Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal (trams lines 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17), then turn left at about 100 metres after the Nieuwezijds Kolk tram stop. We’re halfway down the street. It’s also just a 10 minute walk from Central Station.
